Nurturing Minds is able to assist NDIS clients who are either self-managed or plan-managed. Please contact us for any further questions you may have. The cost per 60 minute session is $214.41.

NDIS 

You do not need a referral to see a Psychologist and if you wish to pay privately, the fee is $192 per 50 minute session. You may be able to claim a rebate from your private health insurer. Please note that Saturdays attract a higher rate of $212. 


Your General Practitioner can provide you with a mental health care plan that will allow you to see a Psychologist for 10 sessions per year. The fee is $192 and you will receive a rebate of $92.90 from medicare. Please note that Saturdays attract a higher rate of $212.

 

Private Paying or Private Health Insurance 

Mental Health Care Plan 

Please note that the Australian Psychological Society recommends a standard fee of $251 for a 45 minute to 60 minute consultation with a Psychologist.

What are the costs ?

Open Arms (VVCS) 

Our Psychologists are registered with Open Arms - veterans and families counselling service. Please contact open arms on 1800 011 046 if you think you are eligible for this service. 

COUPLES COUNSELLING

Select Psychologists at our practice offer couples counselling. The fee for a 50 minute session is $212.

The fee with a provisional psychologist is $140.

Nurturing Minds is a registered provider for WorkCover and is able to see clients under this referral process. 

PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

The fee for a 50 minute session with a Provisional Psychologist is $140. This means that the clinician has finished their study requirements and still have practicum hours to complete before they can register as a Psychologist. The fee is cheaper because there are no medicare rebates available.
